Dr Viny Kantroo is a consultant in respiratory, critical care and sleep Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India. She is a member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London), the Diplomate National Board (DNB, Respiratory Diseases) and a fellowship from King’s College Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Kantroo holds the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM, ISCCM) and European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (EDARM). She is a Life Member, Indian Chest Society, European Respiratory Society, Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, European Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr Kantroo’s research interests include critical care, interventional pulmonology, interstitial lung disease and rehabilitation in COVID-19. She has been Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in various multi-centre multinational trials including Sputnik-V, 2-D-FDG, BCG Trial and the HOPE Study. She has published papers in both national and international journals and multiple book chapters including Comprehensive Textbook on COVID-19 (Salubris publishers).
